Viewing John C. Crowley, Jr. (1902-1947).John C. Crowley, Jr. (1902-1947).Although John Christopher Crowley, Jr., was stricken with polio at age nine, he had a "cheerfulness and bounding enthusiasm" for life that awed his friends. A graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, he was admitted to the bar on October 11, 1928, and practiced probate law in Minneapolis until his final illness. At memorial proceedings of the Hennepin County Bar Association after his death on June 11, 1947, a colleague and friend remembered, "He saw only the bright and pleasant and the cheerful side of every incident that took place about him." |
